United Way Funded Programs

UNITED WAY FUNDED PROGRAMS

Each year after the results of the Community Campaign* are determined, the three volunteer Impact Teams (one each for Education, Income and Health) review applications for funding from our Member Agencies and make a recommendation to the volunteer Community Investment Team about what to fund, all based on the potential for the program to deliver outcomes based on the goals set by the community (Target Outcomes). Take a look at what Education, Income and Health are all about with this short video.

That funding recommendations are them forwarded to the UWCC Board of Directors before final amounts are awarded.  For a complete report on what programs were funded, at what Member Agencies, click here.

* Please note: investments are net of amounts designated by donors directly to Member Agencies, to other United Ways and to other 501c3's; net of administration and fund-raising costs; and net of amounts reserved for Community Capacity Building and Community Engagement investments.
