GET INTO THE SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY -- CONDUCT A UNITED WAY WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN
Thank you for your interest in our Community Campaign. Every fall between early September and the end of the following March, we run our official community fundraising campaign. Hundreds of businesses in Chittenden County conduct a workplace campaign to benefit United Way of Chittenden County and/or include United Way in some sort of other combined campaign.
This year we kicked off our 2011 Community Campaign with a LIVE UNITED Celebration Breakfast on Friday, September 9th to honor the Hometown Hero Award nominees and winners and to announce our fundraising goal -- as well as to award our Third Annual Advocacy Award.
This past year, of the over $4 million we raised, 82% came from workplace donations and corporate gifts.
