Through United Way, your contribution will support the building blocks of a better life: a good education that will position a person for a stable future with enough income to meet needs, and good health to enjoy all this beautiful community has to offer. It’s what we all want for ourselves and our children. In this we all share a common vision.

Individual Giving

  • We would love for you to drop by our office (address above). We are here Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.

Workplace Campaign

Over 80% of our annual gifts come from United Way workplace campaign. Many of our donors choose to participate in their company or organization’s workplace campaign and most make their donations through the simple process of payroll deduction over the course of each year. Please check with your organization to find out about your United Way Campaign. Or, contact John Cronin, United Way of Chittenden County's Community Campaign Manager.

Leadership Giving

  • The Tocqueville Society recognizes individuals or couples who pledge gifts of $10,000 or more annually to United Way of Chittenden County.
  • The Pomeroy Leadership Circle recognizes individuals or couples who pledge gifts of $1,000 or more annually to United Way of Chittenden County.

The Legacy Fund

The Legacy Fund, established in 2001, is an endowment which provides on-going support for United Way operations for the future. The fund recognizes individuals or couples who believe their annual gift helps United Way address the needs of our community today, but know that it is equally important to perpetuate their support in order to meet the needs of our community for generations to come.

The Loyal Contributor Program

The Loyal Contributor Program recognizes individuals or couples who have been donating to (any) United Way for 10 years or more. Loyal Contributors are recognized for the longevity of their support, not the amount of their gift. Self-identified Loyal Contributors have an asterisk* beside their name.
